Randy Alford is a 30-year real estate industry veteran and proven multi-million dollar producer. New home sales account for most of Randy's sales experience as he quickly rose through the sales ranks of some of the largest homebuilding companies in the United States.
A native of Greenville, NC, he graduated from his hometown university, East Carolina, before beginning his new homes sales career at the first true master-planned community in South Carolina, The Summitt. He represented Centex Homes - the nation's largest homebuilder at the time - and was awarded their Salesperson of the Year honor during his tenure with them. Randy then moved from Centex Homes to Ryland Homes where he was recognized again with the coveted "Bull Award" for the best gallery presentation and model demonstration. In 2000, he became a new homes sales manager with what is now the nation's top homebuilder, D.R. Horton.
Randy attributes his sales success to adhering to the principles set forth in The Critical Path to Sales Success by Frank Sullivan - considered "the Bible" of new home sales professionals. Randy is known to mentor other real estate professionals and is often approached for advice from others in the business because of his extensive experience, passion for sales, and good-natured personality.
Randy is a native of Greenville, NC but moved to Charlotte in 1996. After his new home sales career, he worked with another local real estate firm where he specialized in tear downs, flips and renovations. He joined Carver Pressley, Realtors in March 2020.
Dac Carver, operating partner of Carver Pressley, said of Randy, "he can put anybody at ease. He is a quick study, fast to respond, prepared, and an excellent listener which is often undervalued in society these days but is one of the most defining traits of a successful salesperson. No matter how much experience any of us have, we can all learn from Randy."
Randy resides in the Quail Hollow area of South Charlotte and his spare time, Randy plays golf and the guitar (although not at the same time) and is a passionate environmentalist who loves to spend time helping clean up local waterways with the Catawba Riverkeeper. His sidekick and best friend is his Golden Retriever, Lucy.
