Terrie Orsi
Terrie moved to Charlotte in 1997 from Beverly Hills where she worked in property management for a privately owned commercial developer. Once in Charlotte she worked side-by-side with her Charlotte native husband as a residential appraiser, specializing in high-end residential new construction and appraised improved and unimproved properties throughout nine different counties.
While working as an appraiser, Terrie became dual licensed in 1997 and after 13 years of residential appraising she focused her attention on representing investors, buyers and seller clients in every aspect of their real estate needs throughout the Charlotte and surrounding area markets.
Terrie enjoyed working with investors during the real estate rush of the late 90's to mid 2000's recognizing properties that were grossly undervalued and "prime" for improvement, often knocking on seller's doors for opportunities to sell their homes to her investor and buyer clients. She would then assist her clients in renovations as a project manager and consultant so they could capitalize on their investment. Project managing her client's renovations was a natural progression of Terrie's passion for architecture and construction and she parlayed her love for project management into a full time position with a high-end commercial and residential development company where she was a project manager of renovation and historic restoration projects for the developer.
It was during the real estate rush on properties in Dilworth and SouthEnd in early 2000 that Terrie became long-time friends with Andy Pressley who she stayed in touch with for over 18 years, a work relationship that was truly formed out of both their passions for real estate and treating clients like family.
During the real estate rush Terrie continued to forge new alliances within the real estate industry and found a civic use for her real estate knowledge as a member of the Mecklenburg County Board of Equalization and Review committee, which she was appointed by the County Commissioners in 2011 and remained on the board throughout the reevaluation process until 2017 when she became employed by the county's Assessor's Office as an appraiser.
Although real estate is her primary passion while on the ground it is only part of what makes up this dynamic, full-of-life, talented woman. Terrie returned to the airline industry in 2018 as a Flight Attendant for the regional carrier of American Airlines, loving the friendly skies once again after almost 30 years away. She enjoys the flexibility of her flying schedule which allows for her to not only assist her clients in their real estate needs but also to explore the world with her family and friends. Certainly her experience with a diverse culture base is one of her many strengths from having friends in Peru, England, South American, Asia, and other regions of the United States all adds to her outstanding ability to serve her clients.
Terrie has lived in the Sedgefield, Myers Park and Barclay Downs neighborhoods for over 20 years and has two children and a labradoodle named Blu. She enjoys spending time with her children, her family and friends, traveling, cooking, going to the beach in all seasons, paddleboarding local lakes and enjoys ALL water sport activities.
